CALIFORNIA is located in the West Coast of the United States. California's geography ranges from the Pacific coast to the Sierra Nevada in the east to the Mojave desert and the Redwood Douglas fir forests of the Northwest. Almost 40% of California is forested, this is a high percentage considering that California is an arid State. California has a very productive agricultural area; the Central Valley that is. California is the most geographically diverse state in the United States with the lowest point (Death Valley) and the highest (Mount Whitney). CALIFORNIA HAS FOUR DIFFERENT REGIONS. CALIFORNIA, EMPTY INTERIOR, SOUTHWEST BOARDER AREA AND THE NORTH PACIFIC COAST REGION. Our State has a wide range of regions and territories.
