MEGALOPOLIS

California State has cities with megalopolis straddles and some of the best natural harbors in North America is San Francisco. It is built around excellent natural harbors which is a site characteristic of a megalopolis. California like other Megalopolies' cities has problems due to increase automobile use. Los Angeles for example, has almost two-thirds of he cities downtown devoted to vehicle use and has more cars per capita than any other city or state in the United States. Public transportation is minimal in Los Angeles.
